1st day: Phuentsholing to Thimphu night stay. (Distance - 180kms.; Driving Time-06hrs.)
Meet and greet on arrival time and after processing permit you will drive to Kharbandi Gumpa/Milerapa Lhakhang & Drive through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside in Thimphu, The capital of Bhutan via Gedu, which is located about 9000 ft above the sea and view of Chukha Dam and stopover for photo session at Wankha Waterfalls, on arrival at Thimphu check in hotel and Overnight stay in Thimphu hotel.
2nd day : Thimphu local Sightseeing & night stay Thimphu. (Full Day Sight Seen)
Morning go for local Sightseeing tour of Thimphu including visit -- Buddha point , hindu mandir, national memorial chorten , Simply Bhutan, Takin reserve center & tashichoedzong (parliament house ), centenary farmers market and overnight stay in Thimphu.
3rd day:Thimphu to Punakha | Punakha Sightseeing (70 Km/3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Dochula pass (3,080m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Later, drive to Punakha to visit Punakha Dzong built at strategic junction of Pho Chu & Mo Chu River, Punakha Suspension Bridge and Chimi Lhakhang. Overnight stay at a hotel in Punakha.
4th day: Excursion to Gangtey / Phobjikha valley (mini Switzerland of bhutan)
(Excursion to Gangtey – Distance: 78 kms. one way / Driving Time: 3 hrs.)
After breakfast, start for a full day excursion trip to Gangtey Valley (9,842 ft.). On the way you shall come across different flora and fauna, monuments, villages and people. Stop at places for sightseeing and photography. While in Gangtey visit the Gangtey Goemba, the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan, which was established in the 17th century. Then explore the Phobjikha valley, one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in the Himalayas and the winter roosting place for the endangered Black Necked Cranes which migrate from the arid plains of Tibet in the north. You may choose to hike around the valley. After visiting the valley drive back to Punakha. Overnight stay at Punakha.
5th day : Punakha – Paro (120 Km/3-4 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Paro (7,483 ft.) through the Wangchu river in the valley floor through the suburbs and villages of Thimphu to arrive at the river confluence of Chuzom, a hub of road network going to Paro, Haa and Phuentsholing. From Chuzom following Pa Chu river upstream passing through Tachogang temple on the other side of the river and visit Nyamay Zam Bridge, Rinpung Dzong, and Tiger Nest View.Overnight stay at Paro.
6th day: Chele La Pass & Haa Valley
Morning drive to Chele La view point Sightseeing, Chele La Pass is at over 13,000 ft to the west above the Paro Valley; is the highest road pass in the country and has amazing views of the Himalaya especially that of Mt. Jhomolhari, Bhutan’s most sacred peak at over 22,000 feet. Later return back to paro for lunch and have a leisure time for shopping and roaming…..
7th day :Paro to Phuentsholing and night stay, (Distance - 180kms.; Driving Time - 06hrs.)
Morning after breakfast, drive from Paro to Phuentsholing and drop to hotel and in the evening you can visit Phuentsholing/Jaigaon market and night stay at Phuentsholing.
